Unveiling of NUS Business School's new premises

At the soft launch, NUS President Prof Tan Chorh Chuan said: "With the top-notch facilities in the Mochtar Riady Building, the NUS Business School is well poised to distinguish itself as a leading business school with a global orientation, rooted in Asia, and noted for its excellence in education, research and thought leadership."
"We aim to apply world class standards and utilise our location advantages to advance research, teaching and service that leave a long last memory and impact on the students, industry and fellow academics," said Dean of NUS BIZ and Stephen Riady Distinguished Professor of Finance Prof Bernard Yeung.
The new 16,500 sqm Mochtar Riady Building has been designed for energy and water efficiency which include water-efficient fittings which are given three ticks (v) - the highest water efficiency level that is indicated on the fittings. The building was awarded the BCA Green Mark Gold Award by the Building and Construction Authority in recognition of the design and construction efforts made to preserve the environment.
The grand opening of the Mochtar Riady Building is slated for September this year, culminating with the school's 45th anniversary celebrations.
