NEW DONOR WALL AT NUS: Present at the unveiling ceremony were Chairman of the NUS Board of Trustees Mr Wong Ngit Liong and NUS President Prof Tan Chorh Chuan
NUS unveiled its Donor Wall at the University Hall on 21 January 2011. Gracing the event were NUS Board of Trustees (BOT) members as well as NUS senior administrators.

Said NUS President Prof Tan Chorh Chuan at the ceremony: “The panels here are a symbol of our deep gratitude for our donors’ support and help that have enabled us to develop as a University.”

Prof Tan added that he was greatly heartened by the very strong support by the NUS community. In the past year, alumni giving grew by nearly 50 percent and is poised to grow significantly this year.

Making special mention of the NUS BOT members who are among the major benefactors of the University, Prof Tan thanked them for having invested a great deal of time, personal experience and energies into helping to shape the directions of the University, its programmes and for raising philanthropic support.

The NUS Donor Wall consists of seven panels with the main panel honouring generous donors from 1980 to present.
