NUS moves up in THE World Reputation Rankings

15 March 2012

NUS has advanced to 23rd position from last year's 27th placing in the 2012 World Reputation Rankings published by the Times Higher Education (THE). Complementing the annual World University Rankings, the reputation rankings are based on the world's largest survey of academic opinion, featuring 17,554 respondents from 137 countries.

NUS President Prof Tan Chorh Chuan expressed delight that NUS is placed among the leading universities in the world and in Asia. He said: "This is a strong endorsement of our continued efforts to pioneer educational innovations that provide a top quality education, global student exchange and internship opportunities, as well as our cutting-edge research. This could not have happened without our talented faculty, staff, students and alumni, whose dynamism and commitment are pivotal in our efforts to be global in vision, goals and quality, and with special expertise, insights and connections in Asia."
