NUS Business School Dean appointed member of Economic Strategies Committee

Prof Bernard Yeung, Dean and Stephen Riady Distinguished Professor of Finance of the NUS Business School, has been selected to be a member of the high-powered Economic Strategies Committee. This is a government initiative that will be chaired by Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Minister for Finance.
Prof Yeung will be part of the 25-member Committee who will bring a wide range of ideas aimed at developing strategies for Singapore to build capabilities and maximise opportunities as a global city. Key areas include seizing growth opportunities, building corporate resilience as well as growing human and knowledge capital.
Prof Yeung is the only academic on the committee. Other members include Cabinet ministers, representatives from the labour movement and private sector.
