NUS scores Platinum as a trusted brand

PREFERRED BRAND: NUS is the choice of Singaporeans.

NUS emerged a champion among names we trust in Singapore. It has won the Platinum Trusted Brand award for its "truly outstanding achievement" in the "universities" category of the Reader's Digest 2007 Trusted Brands poll. The University is a clear choice among Singaporeans.

The Reader's Digest Trusted Brands programme, now in its 9th year, gives recognition to consumers' most trusted brands in a variety of product and service categories. Universities and hospitals were new categories added this year. The awards are based on 7,000 responses to questionnaires and telephone interviews from across Asia. Consumers were asked to nominate their most Trusted Brand in more than 40 product categories. They were then asked to assign a score for each brand for these six core qualities: trustworthiness; credibility of image; quality; value; how well each brand understands consumers' needs; and its ability to innovate.
