NUS team, Citrus Fresh, has emerged the international champion at the L’Oréal Brandstorm 2007 in Paris, beating competitors from 34 countries. The winning team, made up of Year 4 Business Administration Honours students Eliz Tan, Maurice Png and Tran Thi Thu Huong, was also voted by the audience for the People’s Choice Award.

Citrus Fresh was tops at the Singapore national finals held earlier. Four of the eight teams to make it to the finals in May were from NUS Business School. They took a clean sweep of all the top prizes in the finals which was a first in history, said Dr Helen Chai, Asst Dean, Business School.

L’Oréal Brandstorm is a prestigious international marketing competition that challenges students to take on the exciting role of a L’Oréal brand manager, providing the opportunity for students to have the privilege of direct contact with L’Oréal brand and product managers. Students use their marketing knowledge and creativity to develop an international brand strategy, design new packaging and develop a real communication campaign with a world famous advertising agency.
