Tan Ean Kiam Arts Awards promotes arts excellence on campus

Awardees of the Tan Ean Kiam Arts Awards with Mr Tan Keng Soon, Chairman of Tan Ean Kiam Foundation, Prof Tan Chorh Chuan, Mr Joseph Mullinix, Ms Christine Khor and Mr Ahmad Mashadi.

The inaugural Tan Ean Kiam Arts Awards was launched on 31 October 2009 at the University Cultural Centre Theatre, to honour the best of NUS Centre For the Arts (CFA)'s 23 arts groups, comprising students and alumni, who have excelled artistically and contributed significantly to CFA, NUS and the community. This is NUS' first arts awards platform recognizing excellence in the arts and arts management. The Arts Award which will be held annually was made possible by the generous donation of the Tan Ean Kiam Foundation. Prof. Tan Chorh Chuan was the Guest-of-Honour for the evening and the presenters of the awards included Mr Tan Keng Soon, Chairman of the Tan Ean Kiam Foundation, Prof Tan Chorh Chuan, Mr Joseph Mullinix and Mr Ahmad Mashadi.
