The Office of Student Affairs celebrated teamNUS athletes' achievements at the annual NUS Sports Awards Ceremony on 9 November. Held at the University Cultural Centre, it was a night of glamour where student athletes traded their training gear for smart attire and evening dresses.

The Guest-of-Honour, NUS Deputy President (Academic Affairs) and Provost Professor Tan Eng Chye graced the occasion, together with some 600 guests comprising the University community, friends from the sports fraternity, athletes and their parents.

The ceremony started on a high and energetic note with an opening video that featured NUS athletes, followed by a thrilling stunt-filled cheerleading performance.

The Sports Awards were given to students who have contributed to the sporting community and represented NUS in various sporting competitions. The NUS President Sports Awards for team and individual, representing the highest honour of the evening, went to the NUS Water Polo team and Jasmine Ser for shooting, respectively.

The evening ended with a rousing finale, where a student live band belted out the tune NUS Forever with gusto and pride that resonated with everyone present.
