Professor Katharine Adeney, Director of the University of Nottingham Asia Research Institute, shared her views on the domestic implications of China’s investment in the country and assesses whether election of Imran Khan as Pakistan’s Prime Minister would be able to maintain the ‘all-weather’ friendship with the Chinese government, given his previous concerns about the uneven implementation of Chinese projects in Pakistan.
